Title: Custom Banner Under Userbar?
Post by: snoweye on January 02, 2014, 01:03:53 AM
I want to a add a Slideshow under the Userbar where the Link Tree is in my Homepage portal.

I didnt like the spacing the Link tree made in the portal so I took it off and kept it in the forums only. But now I wanna add my Moving banner where that was, what would I need to do to add this there?

Try making a Header Block for it. :)

When making the block, you can set it to not look like a block, by check marking the boxes in the  Style Options section.

No Title:
No Body:

That will make what is in the block just be, without title bar and background.

I would be able to, If I knew...LOL
I just use the part I told you, except at times, I doe change the drop down one for the background.

The other areas, I think are for adding css to, to change colors, or whatever you want to change.

I could be wrong on the exact ways, of course. ;)

You can do pretty much any kind of styling you want using the Style Options. A quick description would be:

No Title/Body: will remove the default containers
Default Title/Body Class: lets you choose one of the default CSS classes
Custom Title/Body Class: lets you add your own CSS class for the container (ie. smalltext)
Custom Title/Body Style: lets you add your own CSS definitions for the container (ie. font-size: 4em;)
