Hello sundar_83 & welcome to Simple Portal,
Perhaps the documentation will help?

With this example the URLs & PATHs must be changed to your specific environment specs.
Example:
Your URL is:
https://example.com
which has the path of:
../home/mypath/public_html
The URL that you have your SMF forum is:
https://example.com/forum
which has the path of:
../home/mypath/public_html/forum
After installing Simple Portal into SMF via the package manager you take the file located at:
../home/mypath/public_html/forum/PortalStandalone.php
and move it to public_html + rename the file to:
../home/mypath/public_html/index.php
Log in to SMF as Admin & then navigate to:
Admin -> Simple Portal -> Configuration -> General Settings
Set the Portal Mode to: Standalone
Set the Standalone URL to: https://example.com
SAVE your settings
Now navigate to:
Admin -> Server Settings -> Cookies and Sessions
Add a number to the cookie name (making it different than it was originally)
Make sure Enable local storage of cookies is unchecked (disabled).
Make sure Use subdomain independent cookies is checked (enabled).
SAVE your settings
Now navigate to:
Admin -> Maintenance -> Forum Maintenance -> Routine
Perform task: Empty the File Cache
Done.
Now https://example.com should show your home portal page.
