  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Problem installing 2.3.1 on SMF 2.0 RC2

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install v2.3.1 of SP on a board running SMF 2.0 RC2 but I'm getting the following error...

Code: [Select]
3.  Execute Modification  ./Sources/Admin.php  Test failed
    1. Replace ./Sources/Admin.php Test failed
    2. Replace ./Sources/Admin.php Test successful
    3. Replace ./Sources/Admin.php Test successful
It does work if I install, but I have no Admin panel.  Is there a solution, or is it a case of manually editing that file only, or would I have to manual install everything?

It is just a case of manually editing the file which states test failed.

Any updates on this issue? Did you manage to manually edit the relevant files?

The SMF customization site has a function which will tell you the required edits for your version of SMF.
