Hello, when I try to install simple portals i get this error: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D :\Hosting\7767640\html\Sources\Subs-Package.php on line 2714

Reason I did this D : is because if there wasnt space it would be a smiley

If this is a fresh install of SMF2.0RC5, with no mods to that file, then line 2714 is in function package_create_backup, which creates a backup of your files before the install begins.

   $stat = stat($dir . '/' . $entry);Which is simply supposed to return the status or basic information about the file.
I do not know what would cause your problem. I have requested developer help.
