Banner resize
« on: July 03, 2011, 01:49:06 PM »
Hi!

I wan't to know how to make a resizable banner? because i made one for my screen resolution, and on my screen forum fits great, but if someone have different resolution, the banner goes out of lines, or is too small.

That I know off it's not possible to do a re-sizable banner. What is possible is to repeat the background of the banner in CSS and setting the width to 100% in order to make it "re-sizable" and if you use this method you can add the text or the banner centered.

If you want some help you need to ask for help in forums that deal with HTML and/or CSS.

This support forum is for Simple Portal ;)

Try this:
Code: [Select]
<center>Your banner code</center>
Usually, forum width is set to 80, 90 or 100%.
You cant change banner size (example adsense banner 728x90)
728x90 size is look bigger on resolution 1024x768 then 1280x1024 and that is logical.

For me that is impossible accept that you make forum width fixed, example for resolution 1024x768. In that case on resolution 1280x1024 you will have more blank space on left and right side but your banner will be on right place.

i've seen some forums that their banner aligns perfectly

Can you write here some link to the web page where banner is like you want?
