Title: Hiding certain blocks from guests question & guest frontpage/members frontpage

Hello! I've done about an hour of searching and trying to find this information and I might just be terrible at finding information all of a sudden.
2 questions :

1) I am looking to modify the blocks on my simple machines forum to HIDE from guests seeing them. So that the portal can be there, and a welcome message on the front page, but specific blocks will not display unless a member is logged in.

2) Is there a way to make a front page for guests to see that when a member logs in, it will forward them to the members front page?

I think i figured this out on my own with a bunch of modifying permission groups manually for each block. I had overlooked some settings previously. Took me most of the day but I found it and got it! Go ahead and close this. Thanks.
