Topic: A page for the portal

Hello,

I have a forum and I have succesfuly installed the SimplePortal.

Mysite.net is my forum and Mysite.net/index.php is also my forum.

Now I have 2 questions:

1) How do I make a new page so mysite.net and mysite.net/index.php is my portal and mysite.net/index.php?action=forum is my forum.

2) How do I install the portal on mysite.net and how do I make it so that the middle is like a blog. Like every normal portal.

Sorry, if you had this question before but I couldn't find it anywhere.

SimplePortal is a typical modification package for SMF. So you need to install it using the Package Manager in the Admin area.

Admin > Packages > Download Packages > Upload a Package

select the SimplePortal package then click "Upload" and follow the instructions.

When you install SimplePortal, it will replace your board index with a portal page and move board index to the ?action=forum, like it here.

You can use Board News block or Articles feature to list topics from forum on the portal index.
