Title: RSS Block "Invalid Feed"
Post by: meezs on October 24, 2012, 06:49:24 PM
I several RSS blocks on my site all where running fine then all of a sudden I get invalid feed. I have not changed any settings to either Smf 2.0.2 nor to simple portal 2.3.5 and like I said all was fine then boom all went into invalid feed. Any ideas??

meezs,

Have you installed any other mods that perhaps added or edited a .htaccess file?
Commands can be added to .htaccess files that block feeds.

Have you added any other blocks recently? (possibly including a new rss feed)

Do you use a self managed vps or dedicated? If so, did you perhaps adjust your iptables in an attempt to configure a firewall?

If your host service is managed, it is possible that they made adjustments but I doubt they would do that without a request from you.

Thank you for the reply Underdog. I just went to check on the issues you posted and found all my rss feeds working again pretty cool! But I am guessing my host services may have been doing something I was unaware of, so if happens again I check on the issues you posted and repost if it does become an issue again.
Thanks for your help

I'm glad the problem got better.
I hope you won't mind me marking this topic solved.
