Title: Adapting 'Disable Guest Access'

Hi,

I have SP 2.3.2 installed on a SMF RC3 system with SP set as Front page. When I disable global guest access, the link to Forum is gone and Index returns guests to a login page.

I'd like to have:
* the index front page still visible to guests
* a Forum button which doesn't disappear but behaves like the original index (returning to login page).

Is this possible to accomplish?
