Post by: Cryptor on November 07, 2011, 01:02:43 PM
Is there any concerns when using Simpleportal on SMF 2.0.1 that has been bridged with Coppermine installation ?

I don't see any reason as to why there should be.

Do you have a test forum you could use?

No, there shouldn't be, but you do realize that Coppermine isn't the best gallery script out there, right?

So what about G3 ? ... I certainly cant 'downgrade' back to G2, even if I wanted to. And I don't see the point of promoting a gallery integration for a product no longer in development. I know there might not be a bridge for G3 yet but its like telling people to use SMF 1 a year after the release of SMF 2 final.

Though I guess the old G2 version is still a bit better than CP...

I haven't tried it myself but it should be okay. Let us know if something goes wrong. I'll mark this as solved for now.
