SMF 2.0 and Simpleportal 2.3.3
Can I get Menalto Gallery 3 to display in a portal page using code in the page or a block?
So far all Ive managed is to get the main portal page to show up inside itself... doesnt bring up the gallery page.
Tried BBC code, html iframe in a page, php block - they all produce the root portal main page again.

Actually might be another problem ... now the portal is set up it stops me accessing the gallery via browser url and redirects me to the front page of the SMF portal?
I can embed a gallery with an external url - works fine. For some reason the portal is stopping me accessing the gallery folder on the same domain???
Anyway, embed topic solved. ... Portal url redirection not.

I'm not certain what you mean by "portal URL redirection" in this case.
With SimplePortal, you can have a portal page that is at your forum's URL, or on a separate page.
In either case, it should be part of SimplePortal, not part of another product.
Do you simply want a menu button to take you to the gallery?

Its ok, I had a problem with SMF gallery mod. Without requesting during mod install, it set up a folder for images called 'gallery' and probably overwrote some Menalto G3 files I think. After I put new G3 files back it was ok.
