1. Why do you have the copyrights so danged small, no one can read them? A couple of them, are mods that really frown upon this tactic, and when they get the report, you may be forced to remove their mods.

2. Why, when open your site with IE, does it try to access one's clipboard? I noticed that when tried to look at your site. (That is considered a phishing attempt, and I for one, am not happy to have been one to have that popup.)

3. Until these are answered and dealt with, I'm sorry to say, I will not answer your question.

It has been SP's official position for some time not to provide support when a copyright has been altered. Our English Support Guidelines (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=2291.0) were recently updated to reflect this stance. If you would like to receive support, please return the SimplePortal copyright to its unaltered state.

1. Most advertising that I know of, does not request to access one's clipboard.
2. If you had researched, you'd know that hotwords is a very untrustworthy company. I feel sorry for anyone who uses them.
3. Funny how visit to their site, does not bring up the clipboard issue.
4. What you are asking, should be in the Blocks Request board, not support.
5. The block you want, may end up being a heavy resource issue.

2. is irrelevant, the issue is the block
4 and 5. I will wait for the help of someone with more knowledge about this and willing to help

I hope you know, insulting someone with a lot of experience in SMF, and in web hosting, is really not the way to get help.

The reason I sent you to the Request board, is sometimes, some people prefer to read only certain boards.
Some that can make almost any blocks, may have the support boards in their ignore list, making it so they do not see this.

As for server resources, I for one know what SMF can do, if people mod it wrongly, or add things that can use up more resources than they should. Ask Ninja, we had for a SMF mod that was using more Entry Processes than it should have. A LOT more.

So before you accuse me of NOT helping, why don't you open your eyes, and READ!

1. SMF, including Arantor, Suki, etc., also follow the issue on the copyright versus support.
2. We never said we'd not help, even if not care about server loads. That is why I said to post in the request board, as it's really the best place for it. Same thing would happen at SMF site.
3. Be patient, and maybe someone that knows a way to do what you want will post it, but everyone here, are volunteers, and have other things that they need to do, also.

4. A more clear explanation, of what all you'd like, would help in that, too.

There is a Simple Portal block you could use. Its called 'Top Topics'.
You can find it in the block types when you make a new block (3rd row down, in the middle).

This will display the top topics from boards filtered by  highest number of replies or views. You can select which one.

If you do not want to use all boards then that is custom coding. You need to make a new topic in custom coding.
There is a custom block for displaying  recent posts and topics that has an option to exclude some boards by ID. Maybe that will help as a starting place for coding the block you want.
http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=9138.0

I f this is what you want then reply and I will move this topic to custom coding with an adjusted subject title.

I see the topic was marked solved, but it doesn’t look solved?
