Title: Display latest topics from all child boards of the parent
Post by: Itchigo on February 26, 2014, 07:34:35 PM
Here's what I want to do:

I have a block for latest posts. I have several Child boards that don't get a lot of posts, but are under the same Parent Board. So my block for latest posts right now can only pick one Child board for latest posts. I don't want multiple blocks for each Child board, I'd like a single block that can display the latest posts from the any of the Child boards of the Parent.

I am NOT much of a coder, so you'd have to be clear as to where to insert something.

Thanks guys. ;D

If you use the recent posts or topics block, you can choose to show several boards at once.
Choose all the child boards, and you are done.

This is easier than doing a bunch of coding, I think.

I am so glad you were able to make that work for you!
I've marked this one solved; if that is wrong, just mark it "not solved again"
