Post by: CoreyLewis on May 10, 2011, 12:30:13 PM
I deleted Simple Prtal accidentally on my cpanel and now every time i load my website it says 'Unable to load the 'Portal' template.'

The site : http://thegamerfusionz.co.uk/index.php

I am not sure what you mean by "deleted SimplePortal accidentally on my cpanel".
When I try http://thegamerfusionz.co.uk/index.php?theme=1 (http://thegamerfusionz.co.uk/index.php?theme=1), everything looks just fine.
I was going to guess that you had accidentally deleted some of SimplePortal's files, including Themes/default/Portal.template.php, but I cannot see any evidence of that now.
You can always retrieve any accidentally-deleted files from the install package (always available for download right here at http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=downloads (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=downloads)).
But it looks like you have fixed the problem now. If you run into any more problems, it might be easiest to uninstall and then re-install SimplePortal.

I signed up real quick and it works perfectly fine when signed in, I dont see errors either when I checked. Besides deleting a off of the Admin Panel>Packages won't affect anything except make it harder for you to uninstall in the future. This might be an error on your part that you may possibly have as Administrator privileges only thus causing it to give you the error. Or possibly everything is fixed? Just my two cents.

When you say you accidentally deleted SimplePortal from the cpanel, what did you actually do?
If you can tell us that, I think we can tell you exactly how to fix it.
