  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Which version of SimplePortal did you try to uninstall?
Did you ignore any uninstall errors when you performed the uninstall? (please list them all)
What errrors are you currently receiving? (please list them all)

umm im not really sure he doesnt know. Just the second latest version. he got some fatal error and the site was gone

The more information that you give me about what has happened, the faster that I can resolve your issue. I need to know if you ignored any uninstall errors during the process, as that is most likely to have caused issues.

Also, what is the fatal error?

he isnt sure exactly what the error was. I think he just click uninstall and then it destroyed the site

What do you mean by destroyed? When you go to the website, what error message are you shown? Or what do you see on the page?

Any chance that you could post a link to the website?

the site was just blank... but they got it to get a theme but all the fourm is gone and the site was like reseted.... the site is

Use the link below to access the site, it will specify that you want to use the default theme:

Remove the theme that you have set as default, it is the problem, not SimplePortal. Try the theme's topic over at SimpleMachines.org if you want to fix your problems with that theme.

Well, with the current information that you have given me, I can't help you at all. I need to know exactly what you did before your site got 'reseted'.

If you made a backup before the site got 'reseted' then you should be able to restore it.

Your forum does not automatically make backups of itself, ask your host about automatic backups.

You will have to ask them, if they make backups. They should have a support email, forum or some method of communication.
