Hi, I'm trying to set up a shoutbox to display on the forums (with no portal active). The shoutbox itself and the welcome message display, but it says "There are no shouts to display", and I can't make a shout. When I check the settings, it shows how many test shouts i've made (7), but still none of them actually display in the shoutbox.
Also, when I click the little clock icon for the shoutbox history, my shouts do not appear there either. Is this a known issue? How may it be resolved?
Thanks

This is a little bit surprising. If you have 7 shouts on the database, then I would imagine they should show up when you refresh the entire page. No AJAX magic required.
This is because sp_shoutbox, in PortalBlocks.php, calls sportal_get_shouts to get those shouts.
This suggests that the shouts are not actually on the database.
Please use whatever tool you use to check your database, and check the table {db_prefix}sp_shouts
How many rows are on that table? How many of those rows correspond to the shoutbox ID you are currently reporting troubles with?
