Title: Simple Portal small prb

Everthing is executing except  in index.php


Find[Select]

// Is the forum in maintenance mode? (doesn't apply to administrators.) if (!empty($maintenance) && !allowedTo('admin_forum'))

Replace[Select]

// Load SimplePortal. sportal_init(); // Is the forum in maintenance mode? (doesn't apply to administrators.) if (!empty($maintenance) && !allowedTo('admin_forum'))


Fatal error: Call to undefined function sportal_init()


wats wrong with this. did manual editing also but no luck

SMF Version : 2.0 RC3

Also tried the Latest updated SP but no change same prb

yes simple portal is not working. so i temp installed ezportal. i ll remove it if SP works

You can't have SimplePortal installed at the same time as ezportal. (at least its not recommended) If you want to install SimplePortal then please uninstall ezportal and attach your index.php file. (try installing SimplePortal first, without ezportal it may install properly via the package manager)

Uninstalled ezportal and attached the index.php. tried again SP after ezportal uninstall same error again

You installed Simple portal, Then installed ezportal.
Reason was that SP was not working fine, right ?

People can be stupid.

Upload the attached file then try again.

Some badly coded twitter related mod had mucked up the whitespace where an SP edit needed to go, its likely that that particular mod will not uninstall automatically now.
