This is the background on SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=355730.0).
My site is here (http://ibrr.org/forum).
SMF 2.0 RC2, Curve/Default theme, most recent SimplePortal.
I need this mod off my site and I cannot manually remove it as this site says I can't (http://resourcez.biz/PackageParser/)!
My site helps homeless folks get info in the US on locations and work. It doesn't just hurt me it hurts thousands of folks in a down economy. I only have $10USD left on paypal but will pay it to simply get the mod off or fix this (which you will understand is supposedly related to your mod):

Disable the shoutbox from your admin cp. That is the cause.

And for all, if you cannot access to your forum and you think it is SimplePortal; you can add ?debug to your forum URL (ie. http://www.simpleportal.net/index.php?debug) and you will be able to see reach your forum with SimplePortal disabled.

Going to try that now. Hey, thanx for a quick reply ;D and I will get back w/ya'll in an hour or two to let you know. Ideally, I would like to keep SP (even if I have to loose the chat) and may follow up on that. My whole site is down right now so I am setting up a server rewind.

So, here's the deal: Had to contact my server (A2 Hosting). They were really cool about the stuff. They said that it isn't SimplePortal itself, but the chat feature. He said something about only allowing 35 actions (concurrent I think is the word) going on at once; related them to mods being in play on the front end.
@SiNaN: THANK YOU for telling me about the debug deal! Man, that's all I needed (in the beginning it would have worked, but it devolved into a permanent 503 error though as I tried to reload SMF) to slide thru! G-d, I have tattooed that on my forehead!
I am going to play w/the chat deal, but am worried and would like some input. I will follow the thread and reply back and thanx to all once again!
Added: So, I switched the stuff as directed in the above referenced post to cure the chat and my site won't load. So, thanx to the debug deal I was able to access it and deactivate chat. Problem is definately chat. Bear in mind I only have two or three folks ever on at any one time.
Would appreciate it when a final fix (SMF or ya'll) is issued that some kind of mass mail go out so folks like me can use it.
