Title: Visualisation like BoardNews, but different page for each Board
Post by: Radius on April 07, 2013, 07:01:36 AM
Hello
 I use SimplePortal 2.3.5
On the home page using block BoardNews:

Who makes the news from all Boards Forum.

Is it possible to put the main buttons that lead to individual Boards of the forum, but to visualize these sections just as BoardNews?

But which this visualization:

Something like this site: http://rpgplays.ru/index.php (http://rpgplays.ru/index.php), see icons above.

Thanks in advance. Sorry for bad English.

One simple way to do this with simpleportal is to create some custom BBC or HTML pages with a common navigation bar at the top of each one.  One page per desired board.  Each page would have a BoardNews block to show the truncated post contents.
Another option would be to request an SMF customization to do the same thing for every single board (or else for selected boards)
