SP Generating Several Errors
« on: January 22, 2010, 04:44:21 PM »
Hello,
I am working with a client that is running Simple Portal (2.3.1). He is getting loads of this error generating hundreds of pages of errors every minute.

Quote
/index.php?action=admin;area=logs;sa=errorlog;desc
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Uninitialized string offset: 0
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: ..../public_html/Sources/Subs-Portal.php
Line: 457

http://clinicalresearchforum.com

I reinstalled SP successfully without any errors. Can't seem to figure out whats causing this. All SP files are the untouched and the same as the install files.

Any help?
Thanks
- Shadow82x

Sounds like a corrupted Custom Display Options setting to me. Can you copy over Custom Display Options value for all the blocks which has it set?

You can prevent errors like this, but I would rather know what causes it:

Sources/Subs-Portal.php

Code: (Find) [Select]
// Is this a weird action?
Code: (Replace) [Select]
if (empty($value))
continue;

// Is this a weird action?
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Sorry for delayed response. I have been away for a week.

I actually need to see the "Display Options" for the block.

Also, did the code I provided fixed the issue?
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
