Title: Installation
Post by: phatuis on June 18, 2009, 05:53:59 AM
I have done everything according to this site http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1104 , using the 1.1.9 install guide, and I get

"Table 'phatuis_forum.smf_sp_blocks' doesn't exist
File: /home/phatuis/public_html/Sources/Subs-SPortal1-1.php
Line: 112 "

This happens every time I enter the admin panel, and it only started happening after I enabled the portal

If you installed it without the smf package parser than you need to call that file :).

Yep, its the option in your admin panel under "Packages". You can upload SimplePortal and install it using the SMF package manager.

Seeing as you have done a manual install: You will have to upload the 'install1-1.php' from the package into your SMF directory, and then run it with your browser (as you would a normal php page, it will be located at your website, eg: www.forum.com/install1-1.php). You can then delete that file and SP should be installed.
