I have seen this before using VB. I have searched for the mod and I havent seen it yet. I figured I would post the suggestion here.

Here's an example of what it would be like:

Bascially people that are interested in "joining" you, fill out an application. Once they hit "Submit" it takes the application and it generates a post on X forum displaying the questions and answers that this future member put in there.

I know we have the "registration", but this is something a lot different. We want people to join our communities, but we also want to screen the people we take further into out community and having an application process is a great start.

The best I can suggest is Custom Form Mod (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1279).

Moved to the Custom Coding (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?board=39.0) board as such a feature will not be included in SimplePortal by default.

I know this is a slightly older post but I have a solution. On my site before 2.0RC1 I used TinyPortal. In TP I had this Article setup (linked to from the Front Page).

Change as needed. I'm testin it out now in SP + SMF2. HTH.
