Title: Can I make the bottom block wider to both sides?

Can I make the bottom block wider to both sides so that it occupies left and right block spaces too?

A new block position in the next version that does this would be nice.

This isn't possible with 2.3.x versions. 2.4 version will have Header and Footer block positions though. I even have it coded for SMF 2.0 versions but can't post due to number of changes required.
