Title: Need help installing simpleportal

ok, so i'm having problem installing in installing my simpleportal 2.3
this is my website
legacyx.elementfx.com
i've successfully installed smf in my hosting site, and it's also working
but when i try installing package(simple portal 2.3) it never works sometimes it come "error connecting to mysql query" sometime it take soooo long in loading and then it comes"The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later. "
can anybody help me PLEASE.
idk if this is hosting problem or what :S
if anybody of you can tell me any good free website where is can install simpleportal

When I try to look at http://legacyx.elementfx.com/ I (http://legacyx.elementfx.com/ I) get the message "Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database"
Please check that you've got the proper settings in settings.php.
 
When you you have it working, check to see if Package Manager can install any other mod.
It sounds like you may have some problem with your SMF installation. Once you fix that, you should be able to install mods.
