Isn't the "poll" an SMF feature? What makes you say it's a bug with SP :/

You should read the entire topic. I have an block on my front page with the poll in it. When guests vote with that block, then the vote gets submitted. The count doesn't go up though...
That is an bug with Simple Portal, because it works perfect when guests vote when viewing the topic.

SimplePortal uses the ssi_showPoll() and ssi_pollVote() functions in SSI.php which are default SMF functions. Someone probably fixed an issue with guest vote handling and forgot to update the functions in SSI.php. So it's a bug with SMF and not SimplePortal. I may consider fixing this in SP poll block though.
