  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Problem in RC3

Hi!
In the "Board News" block I have selected to preview a post only with 500 characters but its showing the full post at the portal. Means the option 500 characters is not working properly. Its only working for the first post i.e, The first post is previewing 500 characters and the others are showing in full!
What to do?  :ill:

Dear techinspiration,

The theme you're using at your website isn't compatible with RC3 yet!
So, please wait until there is a RC3 version available, there developers are working on it to get their paid theme's stable first.

But, I'm not sure if this the reason for this problem.

this is not a problem of theme as I have tested this with the default CORE Theme and on this theme this problem is also occurring!

Do you have HTML BBC tag used in that post? If you have that, SP won't truncate the post and display the whole.

check simple portal settings first! and another thing, in your site (found on ur profile) not showing simple portal!
