Topic: Gallery Block Made my server down for serveral hours

I have added the gallery block on the left side of forum.

I had selected as 1 or 0 for random pictures.

Now the total site is down and it shows the mysql is taking more than 90 % usage on my dedicated server.

Some Process noticed.

Now my site is totally down, any idea to overcome this without loggin in the forum.

can u go to ur host and see if they made any recent backups that u can restore?

This query would have done it:

UPDATE sp_blocks
SET active = 0
WHERE function = 'sp_gallery'

Probably an infinite loop. It is a very old code and should be revised. So moving to Bugs board.

Any idea, why this load happend on the block.

Is that it made all the photos were loaded on one time.
