Title: Forum Error log shows error while logging in and out because of SP :: somehow

I have seen this error on my forum, while the simple portal is working very well. I have no problems at all apparently. But what does this mean?

8: Undefined index: session_var
File: /home/v4web/public_html/Themes/default/PortalShoutbox.template.php
Line: 111

If I simply ignore this error, what will be the risk? And how to avoid this error. Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.  :nervous-happy:
