Title: [HELP]Too Much Space

Hello fellow SimplePortal fans! :)

I have recently installed a fresh version of SMF2 RC3. To this installation I applied a new theme called Inferno theme as well as SimplePortal 2.3.2. The result is brilliant, but before I can continue my work I have a bit of a problem I need to straighten out:

As indicated by the blue box, I feel there is too much of an open space at the top of the page. I feel there is too much space on the forums as well, not just the portal. Is there anything I can do to tighten up this area?

Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: Disabling side collapse buttons helped a little on the portal page (there are none on the forum) -- but I still feel that there is too much space!
