Title: SMF Gallery vs. SMF Media Gallery - which do you prefer?

...and of course why?

I'm setting up a new site based on SMF and will be soon moving on to its gallery. I was wondering if one was clearly better than the other (as SimplePortal is clearly better than Tiny/easyPortal  :D) or whether it's a case of horses for courses?

personally I think SMF Media Gallery is better, you can do more on it, even compared to teh paid version of SMF Gallery

Hi there !

I work with the SMF Media Gallery. First I installed the SMF Gallery, and I checked that a mass upload do not exist ... so I tried the SMF Media Gallery and there it is! And it is free (but for that cool software I am charter member! They deserve it!).
Also lot of other cool functions, it works out of the box perfect with SMF 2 RC2 and curve, you can also upload any other files (video and so on), really had never troubles with it!

I prefer SMF Media Gallery-- because it's completely free for the full version.

I ran SMF Gallery Pro for a while, but came across SMF-Media Gallery which blew it's socks off.  Then they released Aeva Media beta and I'm all over that like white on rice.

Definitely the best way to go.  :thumbsup:

I am also in favor of SMF Media Gallery because I had so many support issues with SMF GALLERY.
SMF MEDIA GALLERY is much better bcs of its enhance features and prompt support.
