Hi, I am trying out SP! I was told by labradoodlel that you have some better things than PortaMx!
Also, when I enabled the simpleportal articles thing, I didn't see a button or anything on the nav area for people to add articles, if they could, I would uninstall SMF articles mod.
And Hello everyone!
-
you need to give the right permission for it, check the members premissions, and if you got a custom theme you need to edit this theme to see the "add as article button" thats probably why you cant see the "dot" "arrow" "stats" butons, please attach your ./Themes/your theme/Display.template.php and Move the included directory "sp" to "./Themes/your theme/images".
edit, fix typos

In Portal.template.php, change all instances of $settings['images_url'] to $settings['default_images_url'] and you're all set in all themes.
-
SimplePortal already comes with a fallback to default theme images folder, if Themes/{current_theme}/images/sp directory does not exist. You probably have that directory, but you don't have images in it. Just remove that directory all together, and the ones in default theme directory will be used.

Thanks, I will do that now!

Thanks [sinan], that worked!

Good to hear. Marked as solved. ;)

Did you give permission first? if not that's what you need to do - its the only way.
