I´d like to set some blocks collapsed by default.
-
I'd also like to see this feature.. would come in handy with java/flash blocks that constantly send info..collapsed keeps 'em from sending data...
-
@Petter,
This would be a useful feature.
@downerup,
The blocks would still send information, just because they are hidden, doesn't mean that the code isn't there. ;)
You would have to write some custom javascript that stops the blocks from sending data, not sure how that would work with your particular flash/java blocks.

it already stops.. when the block is minimized ..
example #1 shoutcast app..
when the block is open you can see in address bar.. "transferring data from where ever.com" (constant data for this particular app)... as soon as you minimize (javascript:void(0)) data stops..says done in address bar..
however. users have to minimize,or it doesn't help.. I tell users they can (via banner),but would love to remove the instructions @ some point.and just have it minimized from the start..
anyway,useful feature ..hope to see it soon. ;)
thx 4 your time.. love the SimplePortal. :in-love:
