Hello.
I have some questions about the Staff List Block.
What permissions cause to a user to be shown as administrator?
I have seen that there can be members that are shown as administrators when they do not have the administrator membergroup nor full permissions.
How can I set the order of the members? (For example, someone who has the administrator membergroup is lower than someone who doesn't have).
Is there any possible to set for that block that only some membergroups will be shown? If no, then I would like to make it as a suggestion... Being able to have more permissions to set the staff blocks in a different way. For example: Making a staff list which will show list of members who are board moderators, and then we should also have the permission of order, such as:
- Set order according to the names
- Set order according to the ID
- Set order according to who moderates more boards
- Set order according to the order of the boards themselves
- Custom order - set the order by yourself.

A far as I can see block will display local moderators (that you add in board settings) and users with permissions: moderate_board, admin_forum.
But here you have mod created by grafitus => http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=8765.0 It has more options than default staff block :)

Thanks, I will check if the package works. :)
About the moderate board thing, I know, they will be as green, and forum moderators as blue. And the forum administrators will be as red, so that "admin_forum" is the permission of "Administrate forum and database" or something like that?

admin_forum => Administrate forum and database
moderate_board => Moderate board

Please have a look at the code. My recollection is this is all done by group.

About the questions it's fine, but I think that the staff block should have more permissions regarding the order, as it doesn't really make sense that when someone who has the administrator membergroup is lower than someone who doesn't have the administrator membergroup (but he has the administrate forum and database permission). The package which I have been suggested to add, works fine and it's very good but still, neither the package nor SimplePortal give us the needed permissions to set the order of the members in the staff block.

I am not sure I understand. That simpleportal block works by checking a very small number of membergroups, not by checking through all permissions for all membergroups.

AngelinaBelle,
I believe he is referring to Grafitus' plugin with respect to adding other membergroups via id.
player.samp,
I do not believe Grafitus' mod will let you order the output.
I wrote a mod a while back that has a similar effect although applied differently. I would have to develop a means of allowing an input to order them since I did not add that option to my mod either. However, I did post some edits to allow ordering by membergroup id which would at least put the Admins on the top.
If you manually ordered your actual membergroup list to increment their numerical ids from lowest to highest you will get the effect you want.

Thanks. :)

did that fix it?

I found everything needed and installed/changed the needed things, but I still couldn't find something about this:
- Set order according to the names
- Set order according to the ID
- Set order according to who moderates more boards
- Set order according to the order of the boards themselves
- Custom order - set the order by yourself.
I would do it by myself (and many other things actually :P) if I just knew PHP. But looks like I will just have to wait, maybe someone will create it someday.
Marked as solved.
