Errors in SMF 2.0 RC3 (SP 2.3.2)
« on: April 03, 2010, 12:33:08 PM »
Hi all!
Apart from the many error I'm having on the installation of the new version 2.3.2 I found that some patches are already implemented and it's trying to install it again with no error message.

Here is an example

I have installed the version 2.3.1
I already checked if I was emulating SMF 2.0 RC2, but no, it's on RC3

Well, you can either:
Try to manuall remove all the problems stopping SP 2.3.2 from upgrading your forum.
Or, Try to uninstall SP 2.3.1, then you can install SP 2.3.2 (you shouldn't lose any data, but make a backup just in case).

If you can't do it yourself then feel free to attach a copy of your SSI.php file.

Thanks a lot for your kind help Nathaniel, but I'm sure I can do it by my own.

Is it usefull for you if I send you a list of the upgrade errors I will find during the manual upgrade?

I solved it without having to make all changes manually.

I just edited the package-info.xml, changed the line <upgrade for="2.0 - 2.99.99" from="2.3.1"> to <install for="2.0 - 2.99.99"> and of course the end of the upgrade </upgrade> to </install> and erased the original <install for="2.0 - 2.99.99">  code in that file, so that I managed to upgrade to 2.3.2 version
