There isn't really any trick to creating a new page, you just need to use the Pages section in the admin area.

Perhaps documentation or some sort of guide would be useful.

If I have some time later I can write a quick one. Or perhaps a developer can write one when they have free time.

By creating a page using the Page section, where is the actual page located?
Is it just stored in a sql database or does it create an actual page?
I want to make a php page which is using a "require_once" string, but I have no idea how many "../" to use since I dont know where the file is located.

A link to the page from the portal is the only way I can think of.

The content is stored in SQL, under the pages table. Try fetching that use $smcFunc['db_query']

1) By creating a page using the Page section, where is the actual page located?
2) Is it just stored in a sql database or does it create an actual page?
3) I want to make a php page which is using a "require_once" string, but I have no idea how many "../" to use since I dont know where the file is located.

1) The data is located in your database. The page can be accessed at 'index.php?page=pageid', there is a link for each page in the page list area of the admin panel.

2) Its stored in an sql database.

3) You can use the require_once function as if the file is located in your forum's main directory, although I would recommend that you use the normal $sourcedir, $boarddir, $themedir, etc. SMF path variables (which you would need to global before using).
