Sorry for delayed response. Can you give an example to RSS feed that you have this problem?

1) SMF does not serve topic icons with RSS, so there is no way for RSS block to fetch them.

2) I'm not sure how they mix up. Would you attach a screenshot of the issue?

3) I've shown here (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=1285.msg9280#msg9280) how to customize it. But it requires some PHP knowledge.

Or you may just wait for next version to be out...
