Title: Re: General Custom Theme Tutorial
Post by: ScottDB on July 27, 2009, 12:58:53 PM
in trying to edit my theme I was able to edit the help button but when I went to edit the forum action I cant find any of the codes. I know they are probably there but just a slight variant of the code that I can't find. I am a newbie to php. The theme is classic yabb se.

Also can someone check to make sure that I got the help button correct. It is slightly different than the ones I have already edited on other themes.

If possible can you please tell me the code that are in place of the codes in the forum action section that I am suposed to find. Trying hard to learn this stuff.

Split from the other topic.

Your code looks fine, but you will need to create a 'Forum' image, to put in the correct location '/Themes/{themename}/images/english/forum.gif'.

Try the button generator below, I think that has what you need:

Were you able to manage this, Scott?

Thanks for the reply. No, I looked at the link and it didn't have a forum button that I could see. I then thought that if I went to one of my themes that I do have it showing on that I could just copy from that. Could not find it in those themes either. That got me real confused.

oops: modified post - found it. I take it I will have to create the location {themename}/images/english/forum.gif'

ok modified again. No forum button in collection. Will have to email him and see if he can add one to the collection. Do you know of any other place?

I don't know of any, unfortunately. Your only solutions seems to be from the theme author.
