How to remove images name ?
« on: February 10, 2009, 12:18:05 PM »
Hi,

I am using SMF 1.1.8 with SimplePortal .

On home page i am showing latest attached images, its also showing the images names and some times images names are very long that's why my forum layout is disturbing.

www.weyouth.pk please check.

Kindly let me know how i can invisible the images names ? In which page i have to change the codes?

Thanks.

Sorry I had a brain fart.  The file should be forum directory/Sources/SPortal1-1.php

Find this code from your '{forum directory}/sources/SPortal1.php' file:
Code: [Select]
foreach ($items as $item)
  echo '
    <td>
      <div class="smalltext" style="text-align: center; line-height: 1.4em; border: 1px #000000 solid; padding: 5px;">
      ', $item['file']['link'], '<br />
      ', $item['file']['image']['link'], '<br />
      ', $txt['sp-downloadsCount'], ': ', $item['file']['downloads'], '<br />
      ', $txt['sp-downloadsPoster'], ': ', $item['member']['link'], '
      </div>
    </td>';

Replace with this code:
Code: [Select]
foreach ($items as $item)
  echo '
    <td>
      <div class="smalltext" style="text-align: center; line-height: 1.4em; border: 1px #000000 solid; padding: 5px;">
      ', $item['file']['image']['link'], '<br />
      ', $txt['sp-downloadsCount'], ': ', $item['file']['downloads'], '<br />
      ', $txt['sp-downloadsPoster'], ': ', $item['member']['link'], '
      </div>
    </td>';
