Title: <td id="sp_center"> Grabbing any post on forums
Post by: redarrow on November 23, 2013, 08:07:32 AM
* Which version of SMF you're using.
SMF 2.0.6

* Which version of SimplePortal you're using.
SimplePortal 2.3.5

* A link to your forum. (Or screenshots, either or).
http://litheos-gaming.com/

* Any errors from your error log that may be related (please remove paths and IP addresses as this could give out personal information not needed on a public forum.)
None

* A detailed description of the problem. (VERY IMPORTANT).
I'm new to SMF & SimplePortal (Been using phpbb before) and i was wondering...

On the SimplePortal Index page, how do i restrict where it grabs posts from to display it on the index?

As, at the moment- It's grabbing any post from the forums countless of it's location.

Ideally, I'd only want the "Announcements" displayed on the Index page in the red box in the image below.

See image below:

How would I go about achieving this? I already have tried to find solutions on google etc, but to no avail.

Any help you can give, is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to SimplePortal!

I apologize for the very late response. If you are still having this problem:

Go to Admin > SimplePortal > Blocks and edit the Board News block. You can choose which boards you want the topics to be displayed from using that block settings page.
