Title: Site broken and I cannot uninstall simple portal

please please help! rendered my whole website unusable...

cannot do an uninstall as i get no access to any link on the forum...
(is there another 'dirty' way of doing that, through ftp for example?)

No ability to "restore site" from the hosting company as it was newly moved...

Any ideas, please?

I do not know what you mean by "unusable".  Do you have a 500 error? Or just a broken site.
But I am guessing your problem may be related to file permissions.  Who is your host?
Have you read http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=docs;area=solving_install_problems

If you need to, you can remove all the files, using ftp and re-install from scratch. You would not lose anything to do with the database -- just the files.
