SMF Version: 1.1.9
SP Version: 2.2.2
Forum Link: www.eastcoastastro.com
I recently upgraded to SP2.2.2 and after doing so I realized that when the browser window is not maximized the right blocks overlap the middle before the scroll bar appears at the bottom. This also affects how the site shows up on iPhone/iPod Touch as well and a few members have complained about it. Any ideas on how to fix this?
The attached screen shot is what it looks like just before the scroll bar appears at the bottom of the browser. My monitor resolution is 1280 x 1024.
Thanks in advance for any help, it is greatly appreciated!!

Same happened to me-- I managed to fix it by adjusting the width parameters for SP.

Read my solution here: http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=2608.msg17234#msg17234
You'll just have to adjust the 720 to whatever width you need.
Alternatively, you could always adjust the size of that picture in the middle, if it wasn't so big, it probably wouldn't overlap so much.

Eliana,
I looked at the link you provided and I do no have the /Themes/default/css/index.css file.

That only exists in SMF 2.0.
Look in your style.css.

where would it be under in style.css? I do not see a mainframe in it.
Thanks for your help,

SMF 1.1.x uses the 'body' div for containing the page. Try searching for 'body' on your style.css file. Not sure if the fix will work with that though.

What happens when you pour 5 liters in a bottle which can only hold 3 liters? It is the same. You don't have enough space at the center for the "The Image of The Month May" block. You need resize that image or script.

Thanks for everyone help. What I did was take [SiNaN]'s advice. I made the images smaller and linked them to a larger image. Pretty easy fix. Thanks again for your help.
