Title: Transfering from tiny portal

I'm currently using smf 1.1.10 and TinyPortal v1 Beta 4

Ive been having problems with errors in articles and blocks, and if I can't sort it soon , I need to do something drastic...

If I download simple portal, do I need to delete tp first ?

Can I transfer my articles straight over or do I need to somehow save them somewhere, delete them from the site and then make them all again in simple portal?

Any thought would be appreciated

Welcome to Simple Portal!

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to transfer articles from TP to SP.

To install SP, just simply uninstall Tiny Portal, and then install Simple Portal.

Note that SP doesn't have an advanced articles feature like TP. Currently it only supports forum based articles. I suggest that first you try SP on a test forum and see if it satisfies your needs.
