Title: Safari bug when viewing threads
Post by: GoodForAnother on October 13, 2009, 07:11:48 AM
Hello,

I am running SMF 1.1.10 and SimplePortal 2.3.

In Safari, everything looks great until you actually view a thread.  For some reason the thread shrinks down to about 300px wide or so.  It's a very annoying bug.  Here is a screenshot:

I have Googled it and found a thread on this site talking about a .css file called forum.css in /themes/default/css.  However, I do not have this file.  This is pretty frustrating and I hope someone has had this happen, because I love Safari (and have many Mac users) but really, really, really like SP as well.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I was unable to replicate this issue with SimplePortal 2.3.1 and Safari (under windows) for the default theme.

It may be a theme-specific issue. Could you please post a link to your website? Via PM if you don't want to publically post it.

Is your portal.css file loaded into the <Head> tags for your websites pages? If not, then that may be the issue.
