Title: Force hyperlink not to open a new page
Post by: russ skinner on November 16, 2009, 07:35:07 AM
Hi all,

Not sure if this is an SMF or Simple Portal issue -

Is there a way to force a Hyperlink contained within a simple portal page or the smf news panel not to open a new browser page?

For example (note have removed the 'l' form 'url' to show link)
Quote
SRCMC AGM 7th December 2009 - [ur=http://localhost/forum/index.php/topic,1585.0.html]Further details here [/ur]

would open the forum and show the topic without opening a new window.

If this is not possible is there another way it could be coded? PHP?

Thanks,

Russ

Instead of [url] use [iurl].
