Hello, though I have used SimplePortal for quite some time I didn't register until now.
But I thought about this for long time now. :P No offense btw, I must say I like SimplePortal very much!
Is it possible to add articles that when you click on them from the front page in the headline like now, they don't send you to the SMF Forum but an article page of their own? (I mean that you write articles not as topics)
Furthermore, the Poll in SimplePortal, is it perhaps possible to make that independent as well? Atm I don't find a way for non-members on the portal to cast their vote since it has to be a forum topic, this I miss really much.

An articles system is being planned for SimplePortal 2.4 I believe. You can allow guests to vote in polls by giving that permission to the Unregistered Guests group in 2.0 (unless you have your forum set so that you have to be a member to see anything)

Ah, thank you, :) Seems I missed that such a great update was coming regarding articles, very excited to hear about that!
