Do you have a fAQ about themes?

Is there a list of themes that require no modification?

What themes are recommended?

What themes won't work?

With SMF 2, 99% of themes will work with SimplePortal out of the box.

If you have a specific theme that does not work, feel free to come here for support and we'll help as best we can. Otherwise, you should be fine. Don't be worried that something will go wrong before it does.

We do have a nice tutorial on "working with custom themes" written by a former dev: http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=52.0 but it has not been updated in a while.

And we do have a whole "custom theme tutorials" board at http://simpleportal.net/index.php?board=33.0

But the fact is that they have not been reviewed and/or updated in a while.
Sinan, the customizers, and the beta testers are pretty busy getting SP 2.3.4 ready for release now, I try to provide support regularly, and Eliana tries to provide support whenever she has a moment to spare. The popularity of this mod is a little overwhelming at times!
