The SimplePortal team is proud to announce the release of SimplePortal 2.1.1! This version fixes many of the bugs reported, including issues with blocks and articles, as well as some XHTML errors.

Upgrading your version:
If you have SimplePortal 2.1 installed you can upgrade with the install package (just install the new one)!
If you have SimplePortal 2.0.x installed, you will need to uninstall it before you install SimplePortal 2.1.1. None of your SimplePortal data will be lost by uninstalling!
Upgrading can be done in three simple steps:
- Uninstall SimplePortal 2.0.x (skip this if you are using 2.1).
- Download SimplePortal 2.1.1 from one of the download locations above.
- Install SimplePortal 2.1.1, and you are ready to go!

I have managed to uninstall the old 2.0.5 with some bugs. Made some manual edit.
Installed Simple Portal 2.1.1, everything went smooth and even all the setting were back.
Could not find any issue since i was working for last 12 hours in Simple Portal Settings.
Excellent Mod and Excellent Support Acumens. :applause:

There are alot of features available in 2.1.1 that isnt in 2.0.5 but I do suggest getting update asap :)

updated and running smooth, had some failed test on the uninstall of 2.0.5 but upon checking there were no errors!
the new features are great!

I can´t finish this install...
Since i can´t use the package manager (don´t aks me why, it´just won´t do it) i have to install it manualy. When i want to run the install2.php i get this error message:
Database Error
No database selected
File: /srv/www/vhosts/XXXXXXXXXXX/httpdocs/install2.php
Line: 50
(XXXXXXXXXXXX is the domain, since it´s not a public board)
Everything else working, so i would think there is no problem with the database

Please post any support requests in our Support Boards. You might look at the Install and Upgrade (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?board=54.0) board for your specific problem.
