Title: Words replacing images
Post by: Genie on February 20, 2012, 11:18:36 AM
I don' know if this is a  bug or not.
I've upgraded to SMF 2.02
I've upgraded SP 2.3.4

In the shout box, I find the "words" Refresh, History, Smilies and Styling.

In the member info box, I am seeing the word "Dot" and "Arrow" instead of the actual images.

This is happening in all the boxes that would have such images.

How can I correct this?

In each shoutbox settings you can add which bbc's are enabled (hold down cmd/ctrl to opt multiples).
Is the img tag enabled?

Thank you for your response but I think it is my theme, which has fallen behind the upgrade.  Upon trying some newer themes, SP now works fine, again. All the images are there.

Whenever you add another theme, you need to copy any missing  bbc images from your default theme to the new one.
You do not need to rewrite over existing files but just allow the one's to copy that are not present.
The best way to do this is using a ftp platform to copy the images to your computer and then back again to the designated theme directory.
Rewriting over existing one's is ok for the bbc images, but when using this method for other image directories do not overwrite files because of unique one's per theme (just add missing one's).
