Title: Did Google Penguin hit your website?

Many people have seen their earnings drecrease recently due to Google's Penguin and Panda updates. How are you coping with that? Hmmnnn, I wonder!

I don't think SPortal makes anything so wouldn't matter financially. The group does need donations though to pay the hefty hosting bills.

There ought to be a little income from the google ads carried by this SP site.  These can go some way towards off setting hosting costs, especially if a site is getting a bit of traffic to it.  Good search rankings that drive traffic to a site is important.  However unless there were dodgy techniques being used to promote a site above it's true level of interest, there should not have been a big change.  After all the best way to get a good ranking in any search, not just google, is to have good content.
