Title: SimplePortal.net upgrades to SMF 2
Post by: Nathaniel on December 07, 2008, 01:10:36 AM
The SimplePortal team is very happy to announce our upgrade from SMF 1.1.7 to SMF 2.0 RC1!! This version is currently not available to the public.

With this upgrade we can take advantage of the new SMF 2.0 features, and continue to improve our website. SMF Project Tools (mod) has been installed for developers and beta testers to manage bugs and feature requests with, and we will be revamping old sections (such as the download and team sections). Furthermore, blank sections such as the 'Customize' and 'Docs' sections will soon be created and available for use!

The SimplePortal team has much planned for the future of this website, and we ask that you bear with us while we work to improve and update everything! Any comments, suggestions, or bug reports are welcome in the Site Discussion Board (http://simpleportal.net
/index.php?board=36.0).

If you have any issues when you first visit this site again, then please refresh your browsers cache (Ctrl+F5 on most browsers, see this link for others (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache)). Also try logging in and out of the forums, and clearing your cookies. If that doesn't help then feel free to report the issue.

Thank you for your patience and continued support,
 - The SimplePortal Team (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=team).

hmmm, i'm not sure if it's a good idea to put a beta test version here...(it's authorized?)

It is authorised :)

SimplePortal would never do something like run beta/RC versions without permission, because SimplePortal would like the same respect back :).

I am asking for SimplePortal's version for 2.0 RC1 not the SMF 2.0 RC1.
